Cycom has replaced the embedded City Law calendar with a pop-out calendar manager application. The layout and features are generally the same, but this sheet will highlight the differences.
General Operation:
When you click the calendar icon, a new window will open in Edge.
That window will appear in your computer’s task bar:
NOTE: You can resize this window to suit your preferences, and that size setting will be remembered for the next time you open the calendar. Just click and drag the borders of the window just like any other program on your computer.
Creating new events:
You can add appointments, due dates, and ticklers as normal using the buttons in the bottom left corner:
Your Add Appointment window will look and operate just like the embedded calendar before:
The auto-calendar features will work the same, too:
Notable Change:
The time drop down menu now has set and cancel buttons at the bottom of the drop-down menu. Select your time using the scroll menu, then click Set:
You can still tab in and out of this field and free form type your time if you choose, without the need to use the set button.
New Feature:
If you edit an existing event and dispose as “reschedule”, you will be prompted to recreate the event using all previously selected criteria, except for the date and time:
Your newly rescheduled event will have the same Calendar Type, attendees, Subject, team, location, annotation, and description, if previously completed.
